I was seven years old when my older sister accidentally left behind one LP of the double album Electric LadyLand on our living room stereo. What beautiful happenstance! It was the '1983' side and it took me for a ride- and as I strode it showed me the road to total creative freedom. Hell Yeah! For all Jimi gave to the world, his act of courage to be exactly who he was is the coolest. I only wish the money whores didn't choke and kill his spirit. I remember you for opening the doors to OZ for everyone else. Beyond all flash and antic he was the spirit of innovation and evolution of art form. I say don't be like Jimi but do like Jimi... pull the sound into the sky and toss it 'round the stratasphere like little baby lightning bolts!
